Ingredients
- Oyster crackers (1 package)
- Zesty Italian salad dressing mix (1 package)
- Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Dried basil (1/2 teaspoon)
- Olive oil (1/4 cup)
Directions
- At first, preheat your oven to 255-degrees Fahrenheit to get a head start in preparing this recipe.
- Now, take a big glass mixing bowl and place the oyster crackers in it. In the same way, use a glass measuring cup to measure the olive oil efficiently.
- Then add the dried basil, garlic powder, and the zesty Italian salad dressing mix to the olive oil. Stir over and over again to mix the ingredients. Make sure a perfect blend of the ingredients.
- Pour the zesty Italian salad dressing in the glass mixing bowl to mix with the oyster crackers. Keep stirring gently to mix them perfectly. Then toss the crackers carefully in the seasoned oil mixture. Coat the crackers well using the mixture.
- Place the coated crackers on such a sheet pan that is already foil-covered.
- Now, put the crackers in the preheated oven and bake for around 10-12 minutes at 255-degrees Fahrenheit. Then take out the crackers and flip over, put them in the oven again and bake for another 10-12 minutes.

If you want to store the crackers, use an airtight container.
Recipe Notes
This recipe actually calls for vegetable oil. But I revised it a bit and replaced the vegetable oil with olive oil. You can try it either way. But I have found the olive to fit the recipe nicely.
One more thing, maybe I would add a little oregano next time.

If you cherish grated Parmesan cheese, you might want to go for a very popular variation of this recipe is made using grated Parmesan cheese and canola oil. Add both these ingredients in step three and finish the rest of this recipe as directed.
Some people also utilize Pizza Oyster Crackers just replacing the Zesty Italian salad dressing mix with pizza seasoning. Some people also toss the oyster crackers in pizza sauce to bring variation in the taste.
